Hi. Where is something wrong? The solution is printing correctly. Plese show me my mistake and explain why.

Thomas explained it perfectly but if You still have a trobule with that: The inner loop describes how many eights there will be in a row (it should be executed n times) - try print instead of println. The outer loop describes how many rows You will print (it should be executed m times) - just skip to a next line after the inner loop with System.out.printl();

You've seen that you can achieve the asked output using a nested loop. That's good. The outer loop takes care of the lines and the inner loop of the cells (each 8). So m is defining the number of lines and n the cells. Knowing this you need to declare an outer loop that counts from 0 to m (maybe name the variable y) and an inner loop that counts from 0 to n. Name the variable x (or whatever you like, your decision ;) ). In the inner loop print a single 8 (without linebreak). After the inner loop still inside the outer loop you need to advance to the next line. With my description you can spot the problems in the code. - You have two nested loops + - Outer loop counts to fix 3 (instead m) - - Outer loop prints 8888 but it should just advance to the next line and that after the inner loop ran - - Inner loop counts to a < 2 (instead of n) and that a is defined in the outer loop, so you make them dependent) - - Inner loop prints 8888 instead of a single 8 - (so the inner loop runs two times, then a is 2, then the outer increments a again and you drop out of the outer, too -> altogether you print always three lines of 8888) Hope this is understandable ;)
