What version of Java is taught in this course?

I am interested in the latest Java releases and features along with it. Functional programing mainly. Is it taught at any levels?

At the moment the course teaches Java 8. In the upcoming future, the course will be upgraded to Java 13.

I think versions 7 or 8 the latest.
