A suited name for a cow

The importance of following directions is of the highest order. If you work as a programmer, unless you are the boss, you will be writing other people's specifications. Codegym is no different. The directions are given and the verification system tests if those directions were followed. for example, if the directions to a task say to gather 3 strings from the user and then output them to screen, and then the output is this: "Please enter String #1" "Please enter String #2" "Please enter String #3" "this" "that" "though" That will be an automatic fail for not following instructions because the output should only be 3 lines long. In this task they have test code that will make a cow object and call the getName() method. You can test it by adding this line into main:

   System.out.println(new Cow().getName());
}

And the code won't even compile because there are errors. That is because the directions were not followed.

That doesn't work for me.

ahh, OK, next try would be to make the Cow class static. And this should do the trick ;) and I should have seen it before

last idea would be to remove the constructor or to add a default constructor. That's the difference to my solution (I do not have lines 17-21 but the name hardcoded in getName())

It was the constructor. As soon as i removed it, it worked. Thanks for your help.
