On February 24th, the Russian armed forces invaded Ukraine with aviation, artillery, and missiles. Cities and civil citizens are being bombed with battles happening across the country. 53% of Ukrainians have already lost their jobs, and over 3 mils have been forced to flee Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion. Fear of death makes Ukrainians leave their homes and start a new life.
While the Ukrainian people struggle for their independence and the freedom of the whole civilized world, they’re in great need of new jobs.
The number of unemployed grows every day — companies have to shut down due to the destruction of production facilities, the rupture of logistics chains, lack of staff, and loss of demand. Despite the war, those who can work remotely remain involved. And people who lost their jobs (for example, in the service sector) can retrain and work in IT companies.
So, we’re matching every single purchase of monthly and yearly subscriptions with 2 donations for a limited time. With your help, we can give 5,000 unemployed Ukrainians free access to CodeGym’s Java educational platform so they can start building their future career.
