double d = (short)2.50256e2d
☆ what does charcter 'e' and 'd' refers?
and why the resultant value of d is "250.0" and not "2.0" because as per my knowledge for now...(short) ignores everything after decimal point.
-it's really getting so confusing now.
🥵😓
little lost

'e' in the middle of a decimal number is "10 to the power of #", and shifts the decimal point by the number following the 'e'. So:
etc. It is easy to understand when shown.
'd' at the end of a number marks it as a decimal number. So:
+2
