please help someone please. how to check the condition? how many input we need to sum up?????

Use the keyboard to enter numbers.
If the user enters -1, display the sum of all entered numbers and end the program.
-1 should be included in the sum.

Hint: one of the solutions to this problem uses the following construct:

while (true) {
    int number = read the number;
    if (check whether the number is -1)
        break;
}

Requirements:

The program should read the numbers from the keyboard.
If the user enters -1, the program should display the sum of all entered numbers and then end.
The program must calculate and display the sum of the entered numbers.
The program must use a for loop or a while loop.

#1The else will only run A) the line directly after it; or B) the lines enclosed in brackets { } after it. Because you do not have brackets, the computer will process you code like this:

if(a!=x) //checks if a does not equal x
   sum+=a; //if true code executes
else //else if false
   sum+=a; //this code executes

break; // this will break the loop every time on the first pass through

what you want to do is add the brackets

if(a!=x) //checks if a does not equal x
   sum+=a; //if true code executes
else {//else if false
   sum+=a;
   break;
} // ↑ all this code will now execute only if the else does

#2 you need to read the numbers inside of the loop. Line 15, which asks for user input ( Integer.parseInt(br.readLine()); ) only occurs once in your code. You need it to occur as many times as "-1" is not entered. Try moving that entire line to the first line of the while loop.
