Is there a way to review the descriptions of previous tasks? I finished the Hungry Snake game but wanted to go back and see the steps again.

Go to "tasks" and type in the name of the game that you want to search for. For that one it is called "Snake", and there are two separate Big-tasks with that name. I would suggest using the pulldown menu to change from "All Quests" to "Games".
