What's the error guys..?

All the guys here are just reading lines or bytes but no one told you that String.format does not work the way you use it. Yeah, yeah... I can show you... 🤪

String msg = String.format("I will earn $%s per hour", money);
// or without format
String msg2 = "I will earn $" + money +" per hour";

The previous comment was really helpful, I'd just like to add smth. Guadalupe Gagnon recommended using the readLine() method (so do I, I used exactly this one to solve this task). By the way, mind the capital L in the name readLine(). However, this method will give you a String, not an int, so code like int money = reader.readLine(); will not work. You should declare the variable "money" as a String variable, not an int. In this case the readLine() method will work fine. You don't need to convert the created String money variable into an int later, cause the point of the task is to print it out together with some other stuff and the System.out.println() method which you will use converts everything into Strings. That is, there's no point in receiving a String using the readLine() method, converting it into an Integer and then getting it converted again into a String within the System.out.println() method. It's just doing the same work twice. I'm not giving you the full line of code with the String money variable and the readLine() method, cause I'm afraid it can be regarded as a more or less full solution. Good luck! : )

#1 Java is a case sensitive language. This means that words such as String, sTring, string, StRinG are all completely different and unique to Java. I mention this because on line 14 you have an case error that is preventing the code from compiling. #2 Once that is solved: The read() method reads one char, as an int, from the input line. So if you entered "12345", it would only read the first char of that, which is 1, and output "I will earn $49 per hour". You will want to use the readLine() method instead, which will read an entire line of chars until it reaches the end of the line. Because that method returns a String, you must convert that to an int before it can be used.
