I Am Not Able To UnderStand What This Task Actually Want Me To Do???? I Have No Idea Where To Begin With????? Please Assist, No Direct Answers. OK.

Make the StringHelper class, which will have 2 static methods:
String multiply(String s, int count) - returns a string that has been repeated count times.
String multiply(String s) - returns a string that has been repeated 5 times.

For example:
Amigo -> AmigoAmigoAmigoAmigoAmigo

Requirements:

The program must not read data from the keyboard.
The StringHelper class's methods must return a string.
The StringHelper class's methods must be static.
The StringHelper class's methods must be public.
The multiply(String s, int count) method must return a string that has been repeated count times.
The multiply(String s) method must return a string that has been repeated 5 times.

For this task, you need to implement two separate methods. String multiply (String s) accepts a string as an argument,.e.g String multiply("hello"), and that string passed in as an argument, when the method is called in main, must be repeated 5 times i.e. hellohellohellohellohello. So the variable result in this method (String result) must hold the value of the string which has been passed in to the method but repeated 5 times. String multiply(String s, int count) accepts two arguments - a string to be repeated (String s) and a number (int count) which confirms the number of times that string will be repeated. So, if you passed in the string "hello" and the number 2 as your arguments for this method, the output should be hellohello i.e. your string "hello" is repeated twice. Again, String result must hold the value of the string repeated "count" number of times. I would suggest for both using a for loop. For the first string multiply (String s) method, you will want the loop to run a fixed number of times (i.e. 5). For the second string multiply (String s, int count) method, you will want the loop to run for "count" number of times. Good luck!

Or you can just reuse methods. Instead of writing a loop over 5 iterations, remember what you just wrote and delegate the work to the other method.

public static String multiply(String s) {
    return multiply(s, 5);
}

Tee-hee, I'm so smart 🤓 hmm, but to be honest. I've seen this so many times that I can't remember if I came up with the idea myself or if I read it. So cudos to the unknown hero 🤪😜

Hi there - you're very close. You need to concatenate (i.e. add) the words to the variable result in each multiply method, then in your main method, call System.out.println(multiply("String s")) and System.out.println(multiply("String s", int count)). So in your loop, you'll wanting something like: loop (code for loop) { result += s. } I should say that the above is not necessarily the optimal solution as doing so will create a new object on each loop but for this particular purpose, it should pass the validator.
