The error is caused by trying to load the int form the word "ENTER" You have to stop the loop immediately when the user enters the word "ENTER". 😼

String s = console.nextLine();
if(s.equals("ENTER")){
       break;}
int number = Integer.parseInt(s);
sum += number;

sure thing... I would code it like this and use the loops condition instead of introducing an if condition later on and thus having to end the loop with a break.

String input;
int sum = 0;

while (!(input = console.nextLine()).equals("ENTER"))
    sum += Integer.parseInt(input);

System.out.println(sum);

If you want to keep your code with "boolean" and without "brake" just add "else"

while (!isExit){
            String s = console.nextLine();
            if(s.equals("ENTER"))
                isExit = true;
            else {
                int number = Integer.parseInt(s);
                sum += number;
             }
}

Your program is NOT correct: It will be thrown a NumberFormatException if the string does not contain a parsable integer. You should use the hasNextInt() to decide whether the string from the console contains ONLY numbers. (See the correct solution by using the "Get correct solution" button.)

On the other hand task condition don't say anything about handling exceptions but clearly say to calculate the sum until the user enters the word 'ENTER'. If you stop the code for any input other than integers than that isn't really correct either. More correct would be to throw an exception in that case (at least when you do not know what to do). But that's just my opinion. And don't take the solutions to serious. I think that's just solutions students like you and me have codeed and some CG tech just picked one (one of course he/ she considered to be OK).
