Are the values in the array changed?

You can change the values in an array after declaration, however your code does not do that. A foreach loop will store a reference to each element of an array or collection, in order, in the variable declared as part of the foreach loop. In your code, on line 13, you create an int variable called num. So each int inside the array will have its value stored in the variable num. The problem is that primitives in Java DO NOT reference back to the original location in memory that data is stored when you assign their value to a new variable such as objects do. For example:

int a = 1; // create a primitive and assign a value of 1
int b = a; // create a new primitive and assign it a value of a

System.out.println("a = " + a + "\nb = " + b);

a += 1; // add one to a

System.out.println("\na = " + a + "\nb = " + b);

In that example the variable b is set to a but when a increases b does not as shown by the output when run. As I mentioned above this is for primitives only as setting an object to a new variable will reference back to the original memory location of that object, so changing one will change the other. Example:

    a.value += 1; // add one to a

This example is the does the same exact as the other example, but the second output shows that the value of both a and b has changed when a was increased by 1.
