where is the problem?

I tried many times with different ways of initializing the fields, but always fail. The recommendation from mentor shows that The elements of the innerClasses array must be null. Initialization should only happen in the getTwoSolutions method. But they seem to be satisfied already.

Implement the getTwoSolutions method, which should return an array of 2 instances of the Solution class.
For each instance of the Solution class, initialize the innerClasses field with two values.
All data must be initialized only in the getTwoSolutions method.

Requirements:

The Solution class must implement the getTwoSolutions method.
The getTwoSolutions method must be static.
The getTwoSolutions method must be public.
The getTwoSolutions method must return a Solution array filled according to the task conditions.

This task made less sense than a dinosaur in Iceland. I actually had to do the unthinkable (when they don't say you can change modifiers of other methods): I had to make the Innerclass "static" to be able to create new Innerclass instances and add them to the new solution instances......

What did mentor say? Because it's 100% must be initialized. "For each instance of the Solution class, initialize the innerClasses field with two values." Put the creation of InnerClass array back to line 8 and try to initialize values line by line without loop.

Thanks for the advice. But I don't quite get it. I changed the code like this

public static Solution[] getTwoSolutions() {
        Solution[] result = new Solution[2];
        result[0] = new Solution();
        result[0].innerClasses[0] = null;
        result[0].innerClasses[1] = null;
        result[1] = new Solution();
        result[1].innerClasses[0] = null;
        result[1].innerClasses[1] = null;

        return result;
    }

but still fails

Thanks, that solves it. I still don't get the point fo this task, why to practice simply initializing instances in a particular way. I used null because it said The elements of the innerClasses array must be null.
