I've read and reread the lecture. But I think I'm just not understanding why we initialize something. Could someone give me a real world example of the uses? Also I don't get the syntax very well so if you want to help me out with that then I'd appreciate it but I absolutely don't mind learning that part on my own.
It's just hard not having someone there I can ask questions to until I understand with the concepts. Syntax can be learned just from repetition.
I'm not understanding the concept.

Initialize is just a set of statements that you'll use to define the object. It is a special method to fill the object with data and nothing else. The creation of the "initialization" method helps us by making the overall program shorter because in the absence of this particular method we will have to retype all the statements for every time we create an object. This is my overall understanding, share if you know found something too!!
