by specifying ArithmeticException still not verified. Please point out any mistake.

The only difference between your code and my code is on line 9 I put throws Exception where you have ArithmeticException. Think the verification system wants you to catch ArithmeticException but throw everything else.

No even if I change it to just Exception or removed it so as not to throw any exception and just catch the specific exception, both cases it failed to verify.

Strange. This is my code that passed verification if you want to try to copy paste.

public class Solution {
    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
        try {
            int a = 42 / 0;
        } catch (ArithmeticException e) {
            System.out.println(e);
        }
    }
}

strange and weird as the same code, when I copied yours it verified, the only difference was that in my code the catch statement was on the next line other wise as I said I also tried with the throws Exception in the main method signature.
