This is for math freaks, but not every developer is a math freak. Only frustrating and time consuming, no gain!
A hint to all fellow students: the first and the last parentheses do not count. Feel free to experiment with the inside parentheses like this: (a*(b+c*(d+e*f)))
Just a statement about the task

there is a need to understand words "two opening" and "two closing parenthesis". surely these has different meaning then the first parentheses must be in doubles like "((" or last like "))" - this is the bluff. and agree - first one and last one belong to System.out.println()

The technical side of the course and the storytelling is really ambitious. Also the examples are often great. On the other hand you are not prepared by the course at all to solve some of the tasks. Of course, that is your real life as a programmer, to look for solutions, get frustrated and be elated when something has come up. In my eyes, the preparation of the student for the tasks should be better. Without a few good books, you are lost!
