The easiest way to do such type of questions is to use for loop. But they haven't touched this topic yet. So why are they giving such kind of questions? Any hidden agenda behind this?

Because they are stupid and can't think. There is no other reason. The website is russian and I'm guessing all they think is money instead of finding good ways to teach programming.

I felt similarly, but I imagine there is a method to the madness. It is interesting that they are introducing Object-Oriented design before loops.
