hey cos ! i'm completely locked in netbeans this works with randoms numbers why not here?

1. Create an array of 20 numbers.
2. Populate it with values from the keyboard.
3. Create two arrays of 10 numbers each.
4. Copy the large array into the two small ones: half the numbers into the first small array, and the second half into the second small array.
5. Display the second small array, each value on a new line.

Requirements:

The program must create an array of 20 integers.
The program should read 20 numbers from the keyboard for the large array.
The program must create two small arrays of 10 numbers each.
The program must copy one half of the large array into the first small array, copy the second half into the second array, and then display that array on the screen.

The main method should hold all three arrays. Also you when you display the second array it needs to have each value on a new line according to the conditions. You code should look and function like this:

public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
        //write your code
   BufferedReader bf = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
   int [] grande = new int [20];
   for( int i = 0 ; i<grande.length ; i++){
      grande[i] = Integer.parseInt(bf.readLine());
   }
        // System.out.println(Arrays.deepToString(copiaendos(grande)));
   int [] array1 = new int [10];
   int [] array2 = new int [10];

   // split 1/2 the large array into both the smaller arrays

   // output the values in array2, each on a new line

}

You have solved nearly all of this, you just need to format it properly so verification can pass it.

hey guadalupe, very thanks for the help co. Now I have all the arraysin the main and the method calls the three arrays, but it still doesn't work. Requirements 2 and 4 completed, but the rest, Why doesn't it detect arrays??

your arrays are in the incorrect order. Follow my template exactly, which is following the order of the requirements.
