not passing "The program should display the maximum of the N entered numbers."

OMG just got it. Thanks to everyone who posts and comments here. Difficult to satisfy all the requirements. 1) I used Scanner. Still learning BufferedReader but I will take CodeGYm's advice that long term BufferedReader is the way to go. 2) intitialize maximum to Integer.MIN_VALUE. 3) Take user input (nextInt()) and save it as N. 4) make a for loop using N as the terminus, increment by ones, start at zero. INSIDE THE "FOR" 5) inside the for loop...take an int from the user using nextInt. save input into an int variable. 6) test if the int you saved into the variable is bigger than maximum, if so assign maximum to that number 7 ) After/outside the for loop do a test if N > 0, then print maximum to satisfy the requirement. Thanks everyone for a great platform.

Hint: What does your code do if the amount of entered numbers (N) is actually larger than any of the numbers in the set? E.g.

N = 4;
number1 = 1;
number2 = 0;
number3=  0;
number4 = 1;
