1. Utwórz listę ciągów.
2. Dodaj 10 ciągów z klawiatury.

Wymagania:

Zadeklaruj zmienną lista typu string i natychmiast ją zainicjalizuj.
Program powinien wczytać 10 ciągów z klawiatury i dodawać je do listy.
Program powinien wyświetlać najkrótszy ciąg, jeśli znajduje się on przed najdłuższym.
Program powinien wyświetlać najdłuższy ciąg, jeśli znajduje się on przed najkrótszym.

You should devide this into 2 parts. 1. Get the min and max length of strings, exmaple:

int min = lista.get(0).length();
int max = lista.get(0).length();
for (int i=1;i<10;i++) {
    if (min > lista.get(i).length())
        min = lista.get(i).length();
    if (max < lista.get(i).length())
        max = lista.get(i).length();
}

2. Print out the output, example:

for (int i=0;i<10;i++) {
    if (lista.get(i).length() == min) {
        System.out.println(lista.get(i));
        break;
    }
    else if (lista.get(i).length() == max) {
        System.out.println(lista.get(i));
        break;
    }
}

Hi, After filling the arraylist, I created two int variables, named min and max. Then I started a for loop (for an int variable named i), stepping BACKWARDS in the arraylist (from index 9 ==> 0). In each step, I tested if the arraylist.get(i).length() <= arraylist.get(min).length() - if yes, I assigned the actual value of the i to the min variable. And I did the same for the max as well: I tested if arraylist.get(i).length() >= arraylist.get(max).length() - if yes, I assigned the actual value of the i to the max variable. So, after the last loop, you have the indices for the first longest and first shortest String in the arraylist: max and min. So now you only have to compare them, which is the smaller one.
