How can you complete this task without making the methods static??? When you make methods static it says you can't change methods' behaviour, so how to complete it???

Create the Service, Model, View, and Controller classes in separate files.
Move the Solution class's methods to the created classes in accordance with how MVC should work.
Create the required fields in the classes as needed.
Don't add any other methods of your own.
Leave the main method in the Solution class.

Requirements:

Create a Service class in a separate file.
Create a Model class in a separate file.
Create a View class in a separate file.
Create a Controller class in a separate file.
Move the getData method to the appropriate class.
Move the getStringDataList method to the appropriate class. Note that the getData method shouldn't be in the Solution class.
Move the onShowDataList method to the appropriate class. Note that the getStringDataList shouldn't be in the Solution class.
Move the fireShowDataEvent method to the appropriate class. Note that the onShowDataList method shouldn't be in the Solution class.
The main method must create a View object and call the appropriate method on it. The program's behavior must not change.

Solution main: new View().fireShowDataEvent();
View: new Controller().onShowDataList(); // in the method as above, the same below
Controller: new Model().getStringDataList();
Model: new Service().getData();

Hi, made my methods non-static, created new objects but still not passing: View clas: public void fireShowDataEvent() { Controller control = new Controller(); System.out.println(control.getStringDataList()); } Service class: public List<String> getData() { List<String> data = new ArrayList<String>() {{ add("First string"); add("Second string"); add("Third string"); }}; return data; } Model class: public List<String> getStringDataList() { Service service = new Service(); return service.getData(); } Controller class: public List<String> onShowDataList() { Model model = new Model(); return model.getStringDataList(); } Mentor says: "fireShowDataEvent() method should call getStringDataList() method on the controller object", I think I do that
