Bug in the game?

Resolved

I've finished and implemented the game (here) However, there seems to be a couple of issues: 1) Tiles disappear randomly - after a few merges, the tile will just vanish; I haven't been able to get a tile above 32 before it vanishes 2) Can't see the score during the game Anyone else had these issues?

    int i = getRandomNumber(10);
    int number;
    if (i == 9)
        number = 4;
    else
        number = 2;
    gameField[y][x] = number;
}

You misused recursion in your createNewNumber() method. Try to add "else" to "if" condition:

private void createNewNumber() {
    int maxTileValue = getMaxTileValue();
    if (maxTileValue == 2048) win();
    int x = getRandomNumber(SIDE);
    int y = getRandomNumber(SIDE);
    if (gameField[y][x] != 0) {
        createNewNumber();
    } else {
        int i = getRandomNumber(10);
        int number;
        if (i == 9)
            number = 4;
        else
            number = 2;
        gameField[y][x] = number;
    }
}

1) We could try solve it, if you attach your code. 2) The score is not displayed if you run the game in a browser. This is so for everyone. You can show the score in the final message. Or display it yourself in some cells. Here is an example from another game: https://codegym.cc/projects/apps/54
