how do i assign the variable to the string

In the public static void hackSalary(int a) method, increase the salary by 1000 and display the following: "Your salary is: <a+1000> dollars per month."
where <a+1000> is the salary increased by 1000.

Example output for a = 7000:
Your salary is: 8000 dollars per month.

Requirements:

The program should display text on the screen.
The main method should not call System.out.println or System.out.print.
The hackSalary method should not return a result.
The main method should call the hackSalary method only once.
The hackSalary method should increase the input parameter by 1000 and output text to the screen according to the specified template.

useful

in line 13 u have "a = 8000;" but method hackSalary should work with "a" that value u tell in line 9 "hackSalary(7000);", try to tell your value while implementing hackSalary method in main (in your code line 9) and in line 15 u should print "Your salary is: (a+1000) dollars per month." not only "Your salary is: a total dollars per month." feel free to write if you still have problem with this ask and with other too

so in line 13 and 14 what variable should i assign for the code to be correct? i don't get it. P.S. thanks for the generosity :)

for real u can just remove 13th and 14th line to make this method correct u need only value from main line 9 and try to change your print actual line 15 you should try to add a + 1000 somewhere to have for example this output "Your salary is: 9000 dollars per month. " like in this task
