so, i've been on this for maybe 1 hour, is the code i entered right?

Enter the number and name from the keyboard. Display the following string:
<name> will take over the world in <number> years. Mwa-ha-ha!

Here's an example:
Kevin will take over the world in 8 years. Mwa-ha-ha!

The order in which the data is input matters a lot.

Requirements:

The program should output text.
The program must read data from the keyboard.
The displayed text must contain the entered name.
The displayed text must contain the entered number.
The displayed text must fully match the task conditions.

In addition: You wrote this:

int name = Interger.parseint(Abraham);

Integer - not Interger parseInt - not parseint (And this method is needed only if you have to convert a string to an int.)

You have to divide your task into 2 simpler tasks: 1. Read from console Initialize reader :

InputStream inputStream = System.in;
Reader inputStreamReader = new InputStreamReader(inputStream);
BufferedReader bufferedReader = new BufferedReader(inputStreamReader);

and use bufferedReader method to get the value of name and number 2. Simply print the output on the screen using values of name and number, which you've got earlier :)

1. You are choosing the input stream. It can be System.in (reading from console), reading from file ot any other device:

InputStream inputStream = System.in;

2. The reader is a bridge from stream (reading bytes) and it says that you will read the characters.

Reader inputStreamReader = new InputStreamReader(inputStream);

3.Your are creating BufferedReader. It will allow you not only to read chars but to read whole words or even lines

BufferedReader bufferedReader = new BufferedReader(inputStreamReader);

U can simply write:

BufferedReader myReader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));

and then read whole line like that:

String line = myReader.readLine();

The other way to read from console is Scanner, you can check google for that :)
