I figured out the solution this problem but I did not see the purpose to this lesson if someone could explain.
What was the purpose of this lesson like what was it trying to teach?

To practice concatenation of string reference variables . It has been clearly mentioned in the very first line of the task (use only variables) . Here you are holding a word so if you want to hold a word or a sentence you create a string reference variable.
