Intellj Run Program Button

I also had this problem in the beginning, I don't remember exactly what I did to solve it, but from the first screenshot that you posted, it seems like the program isn't configured to be able to run, I don't know how to configure it from scratch, but I'll show you on my screen how it looks: when I select the configuration box and hit edit configuration this it what comes up: Oh! now I remember. I think you have to select add configuration and then in the tab that opens up, there should be a + sign, hit that and you'll have a drop down list of configurations to choose from, choose "application".
