What are the steps to run IJ IDEA with admin privileges? I'm getting a fatal error when I enable the CodeGym HomeWork plugin inside my IDE

Find the app you want to run as an administrator, either via the Start menu or on the desktop; Right-click it and choose 'Run as administrator'.

I'm on a Mac. It doesn't give me that option...and I cannot proceed with any of the tasks because I've hit the point where the tasks all need to be completed inside the IDE. Help!

Switch to an administrator within Terminal.
Enter the command su - followed by a space and an administrator's username on this computer. Enter that administrator's password. You are now operating as that user.

Solved: The wrong JDK directory was set in IntelliJ. Also ran it with admin privilieges. :)
