¿Cómo hago para que al verificar no me salga error de comprobación? Ahí está mi código

Lea tres strings del teclado.
Y luego:

Mostrar el tercer string sin cambios.
Mostrar el segundo string después de convertirlo a mayúsculas.
Mostrar el primer string después de convertirlo a minúsculas.

Requisitos:

El programa debe leer tres líneas desde el teclado.
La tercera línea se debe mostrar sin cambios.
La segunda línea se debe mostrar en mayúsculas.
La primera línea se debe mostrar en minúsculas.
Las tres líneas se deben imprimir en el orden correcto: tercero, segundo, primero.

Recuerda para declarar variables debemos usar camelCase, en dado caso que solo sea una letra, palabra o abreviación escríbela en minúsculas! Las funciones .toLowerCase() y .toUpperCase() puedes llamarlas desde el comando System.out.println(). Espero te sirvan esos tips. Saludos!

Buenas, lo que se puede ver ahi es que la clase Scanner tiene el metodo nextLine() para la lectura de datos de tipo String, entonces lo que esta ocurriendo es que estas invocando a ese metodo y encima otro k.nextLine().toUpperCase(). Y el objeto "k" es de la clase Scanner y .toUpperCase() no pertenece a la clase Scanner sino que es de la clase String. Entonces todas las variables de tipo String pueden solamente recibir ese metodo. Espero haya podido aclarar tu duda. Te diria como es pero la idea es entiendas y lo soluciones. Exitos bro

That's not really the reason why the task not validates. Scanner:nextLine() returns a String object and because expressions are evaluated from left to right, this method is executed first. The return value, as said, is String and on that String object you of course can invoke the toUpperCase() method. That's perfectly valid and normal code (it even has a name: method chaining). I'm not really sure what the exact reason is, that the validator does not accept this but I think it's the way it compares the saved input to the processed string to the test case. So it probably expects the test case to be equal to the saved input A, B or C and these two it compares to the result. But that's just guessing. The adivce from Christian should work, though.
