Is Java 8 Streams allowed?

Just starting. Although a challenge for me, I want to consider using Java 8 feature such as streams. I wonder if that is allowed??

Try, when I did the last time it validated. But I had tasks where it didn't work. Don't know if it was my lacking knowledge or the validator.
