I can understand the rest of the solution, but I don't understand why the argument for 'while' is !isExit.
if boolean isExit = false, then surely !isExit = true and therefore the while loops stops straight away?
Can someone clarify for me please?
Why is the while argument !isExit on the correct solution?

I don't know the solution but I can tell you that from your information:
as long as the while condition evaluates to true the loop will run
