I don´t understand what am it missing... if anyone could help me.

1. In separate files, create Plane and Helicopter classes that implement the CanFly interface.
2. The Plane class must have a constructor with an int parameter (the number of passengers on board).
3. In the Solution class's static reset method:
3.1. Read a String from the console.
3.2. If the value is "helicopter", then assign a Helicopter object to the static CanFly field result.
3.3. If the value is "plane", then read a second value (an int, the number of passengers), and assign a Plane object to the static CanFly field result.
4. In the static block, initialize the CanFly field result by calling the reset method.
5. Close the input stream with the close() method.

Requirements:

The Plane class must be in a separate file and implement the CanFly interface.
The Helicopter class must be in a separate file and implement the CanFly interface.
The Plane class must have a constructor with an int parameter.
The Solution class must implement the public static void reset() method.
The reset method should read lines from the keyboard.
If the input string is "helicopter", a Helicopter object should be stored in the variable result.
If the input string is "plane", a Plane object should be stored in the variable result.
The Solution class's field result must be initialized in the static block by calling the reset method.

Read conditions. 3.3. If the value is "plane", then read a second value (an int, the number of passengers), and assign a Plane object to the static CanFly field result. In reset() you need read one more string and try parsing it only if first string is "plane". (in line 31).

I have had the int passengers : int passenger = Integer.parseInt(reader.readLine()); if (value.equals("helicopter")) { result = new Helicopter(i); } else if (value.equals("plane")) { result = new Plane(passenger); } still not running and with the some errors. the new object is assign to result. and am not seeing what should i add in reset()...

this line: int passenger = Integer.parseInt(reader.readLine()); you must utilise only if it s plane, like this: if (value.equals("helicopter")) { result = new Helicopter(); } else if (value.equals("plane")) { int passenger = Integer.parseInt(reader.readLine()); result = new Plane(passenger);} You don't need int passengers parameter for class Helicopter, only for Plane, and better parsing in try-catch block, it can throw exeption.

But i am not passing the passenger into the helicopter. Helicopter reads the int (i) and i have created a second int (passenger) for the plane. And i am using a Try- catch block with an ioexception, still no verification..

I actually dont understand why does the codegym dont verify this : -The reset method should read lines from the keyboard. Buffereader is there, strings are created and the program should definetely be reading from keyboard, but doesnt validate!

Without it doesnt verify. I dont understand why as well... but its done! Thanks for the help!
