For some reason I can't get passed the boolean task. My code seems right. Can anyone help me with this please?

Make the ConsoleReader class, which will have 4 static methods:
String readString() - reads a string from the keyboard
int readInt() - reads a number from the keyboard
double readDouble() - reads a fractional number from the keyboard
boolean readBoolean() - reads the string "true" or "false" from the keyboard and returns the corresponding boolean value (true or false)

Please note: In each method, create a variable to read data from the console (BufferedReader or Scanner).

Requirements:

The readString method must read and return a String.
The readInt method must read and return an int.
The readDouble method must read and return a double.
The readBoolean method must read and return a boolean value.

I got it working by creating a bool variable to hold the input from the keyboard and evaluating if it was true or not

tip - a boolean variable can only hold one of two values, true or false. At line 40, this will mean the variable "input" results in either of those. You do not need to check if it is true or false afterwards, instead you can just return it. So instead just do this:

String keyString = buffer.readLine();
boolean input = Boolean.parseBoolean(keyString);
return input;
