Hi, why it is not working and although I am iterating over the original hashmap and removing values less than 500, it does not show an error and its working ?

Create a Map<String, Integer> and add ten entries that represent (last name, salary) pairs.
Remove from the map all people whose salary is below 500.

Requirements:

The program should not display text on the screen.
The program should not read values from the keyboard.
The createMap() method must create and return a HashMap that has (String, Integer) elements and contains 10 entries that represent (last name, salary) pairs.
The removeItemFromMap() method must remove from the map all people whose salary is below 500.

Yes, the remove() method need the key as argument. But this shorthand for-cycle in this form is not applicable for delete items. Two solution is possible: A) You must create an Iterator object, and use its methods for deleting. B) You must create a copy of your hashmap, you put the copied version into a shorthand for-loop, so you will do an iteration on the copied one, and meanwhile you can delete items from the original hashmap when it is necessary.
