Why is it that it's assocated with two words?

I was able to do this quickly but don't understand the why behind this. Why is it that it is able to print both words on line 16 and 17 when I only printed one string? Does that one string= "window" AND "file"?

Implement the print3 method. The method should display the passed string (word) three times, but on the same line.
Words must be separated by a space and should not merge into one.

The program should display text on the screen.
The main method should not call System.out.println or System.out.print.
The print3 method should display the text on the screen.
The main method should call the print3 method only twice.

The thing is your main method is calling the print3 function. I dont think you know alot about function calling but in short your print3 function runs twice. On first run "s" in System.out.println(s) is replaced by "window" and on second run it is replaced by "file". And one more thing the condition asks to print the string three times on same line so you you should use System.out.print instead of System.out.println because println always shows string on a new line.
