Here's my approach to this task. Not sure how to modify my code to pass the final test.

Implement the getFeetFromInches(int inches) method. The method takes the number of inches. Your task is to make the method return the number of full feet represented by the variable inches. (1 feet = 12 in).

Consider this example:
The getFeetFromInches method is called with the argument 243.

Example output:
20

Requirements:

The getFeetFromInches(int) method must be public and static.
The getFeetFromInches method must return an int.
The getFeetFromInches method should not display anything.
The getFeetFromInches method must correctly return the number of full feet represented by the variable inches.

Here is some quick code samples so you can see what is output. Notice what they return without any type of casting.

System.out.println("Math.ceil() is: " + Math.ceil(20.1));
System.out.println("Math.floor() is: " + Math.floor(20.1));
System.out.println("Math.round() is: " + Math.round(20.1));

Look at Math.Round() and Math.Floor() -- https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/lang/Math.html Loosely put, ceil is when you want to force a round up, and floor is when you want force a round down. So if the value is 20.1 ceil should force the value up to 21. Floor will make it 20. Math.Round() "Returns the closest int to the argument, with ties rounding up" So if the value is 20.1 round should behave like floor making the value 20. If it's 20.5 or more it will act like ceil and make it 21.

Ceil method rounds up the feet size. You need to give the number that represents the size of the feet rounded down. I hope that can help you.
