How to solve this i dont understand.

Let's implement a configurable file search within a directory.
Look over the java.nio.file.FileVisitor interface and its superclass's implementation java.nio.file.SimpleFileVisitor.
When searching a file tree using the Files.walkFileTree(Path start, FileVisitor<? super Path> visitor) method,
we use the FileVisitor object to perform the required operations on the found Path objects.

Our search class will be called SearchFileVisitor and will extend SimpleFileVisitor.

You can search using the following criteria:
- a term found in the file name (String);
- a term found in the file's contents (String);
- a maximum or minimum file size (int).
You can specify several criteria at the same time.

I wrote code in main that uses the ready-to-use SearchFileVisitor to search for files. All you have to do is implement it. Simple!
Hint 1: The get... and set... methods are getters and setters. The search class's main logic is performed in the visitFile(Path file, BasicFileAttributes attrs) method.
Hint 2: Only use classes from the java.nio package to work with files.

Requirements:

In the SearchFileVisitor class, you need to create partOfName, partOfContent, minSize, and maxSize fields, as well as the corresponding setters.
In the SearchFileVisitor class, you need to create a foundFiles field and a corresponding getter. The field must be initialized immediately.
If a partOfName search criterion is passed to SearchFileVisitor, the visitFile method must add the file to foundFiles if the name contains the value of partOfName.
If a partOfContent search criterion is passed to SearchFileVisitor, the visitFile method must add the file to foundFiles if the file's contents contain the value of partOfContent.
If a maxSize search criterion is passed to SearchFileVisitor, the visitFile method must add the file to foundFiles if the file size is less than maxSize.
If a minSize search criterion is passed to SearchFileVisitor, the visitFile method must add the file to foundFiles if the file size is greater than minSize.
The visitFile method's implementation must allow for several search criteria to be passed at the same time.

You need to change lines 46 to 49. One approach is to set a boolean flag and then check whether the given criteria passes the conditions. For example: boolean ok = true; if (partOfName != null && !file.toString().contains(partOfName)) { ok = false; } if (partOfContent != null && !fileContains(file, partOfContent)) { ok = false; } if (isMinSizeSet && (size < minSize)) { ok = false; } if (isMaxSizeSet && (size > maxSize)) { ok = false; } if (ok) { // add the file to the list } I've added two boolean fields isMinSizeSet and isMaxSizeSet, which can be set to true in the setter of the suitable set...Size method. Check the last condition "must allow for several search criteria". Your if statement adds file to the list only if every condition is passed.

You are correct that the search must allow for several search criteria, however the thing is that only files that fulfill all the given search criteria are to be added to the list. Unfortunately the task description does not clearly state this point.

Yeah, man. Honestly, not a first and last one task which doesn't explicitly say what to do :D
