It says line line 9 needs an identifier. What am I doing wrong??? Iv'e tried it all kinds of different ways and none of them work.

Alright, this is my first time answering to a question, so sorry if I miss obvious points. First, the requirements say that you need to add a printString method. Which means you need to declare it as a method. printString("Hello, Amigo!") does not mean "The string printString is Hello, Amigo!" but means Execute method "printString" and pass "Hello, Amigo!" as parameter. So your method should obviously be named printString, and take a string as parameter. Your method needs to be void static public. So, you should start with:

public static void printString(String s){
}

And before you write System.out.println("Hello, Amigo!") inside, remember that the requirements say that you need to display the PASSED TEXT. (String s) on the method means that it takes a String as parameter, and will name the parameter "s". I will not give any more tips, because you missed a lot here and answering the entire question will not help you out here. I suggest you go back to the basics, give the requirements another good read, and be patient.
