Won't pass the final test, however, when I include a print statement at the end of the removeItemFromMap method using entrySet(), no entries below 500 are present (in intelliJ at least).

Create a Map<String, Integer> and add ten entries that represent (last name, salary) pairs.
Remove from the map all people whose salary is below 500.

Requirements:

The program should not display text on the screen.
The program should not read values from the keyboard.
The createMap() method must create and return a HashMap that has (String, Integer) elements and contains 10 entries that represent (last name, salary) pairs.
The removeItemFromMap() method must remove from the map all people whose salary is below 500.

For removeItemFromMape write the code to iterate the map:

Iterator<Map.Entry<String, Integer>> iterator = map.entrySet().iterator();

Then you make the loop and put the iterator.remove method:

while(iterator.hasNext()){
           Map.Entry<String, Integer> pair = iterator.next();
           int value = It has to get the value of pair;
           if(value is less than 500){
               iterator.remove();
           }
       }

He might quit trying lmao. I learned that from this assignment, only using an iterator to remove stuff from Map, not directly DONE while traversing. There are stuffs that they never teach in this site and expect us to google shit out.

Nah, not quitting. I've been teaching myself for months, got really comfortable with using google for pretty much any and everything lol. Just didn't have access to the internet for a few weeks :D

First check how to correctly iterate map. Something like this.

for( Map.Entry<String,Integer> entry :  createMap().entrySet()){

       }
