I don't understand what I am doing wrong?

Ok, far as I know I have done exactly what it has asked but it tells me I haven't I have tried also adding a Person.name = "Scott"; under it as well, but I think the way it is, is the way I was asked?

In the Person class, declare the following variables: String name, int age, int weight, int money.
In the main method, create a Person object and store a reference to it in the variable person.

Hint: Use the following construct to create a Person object and assign a reference to that object to the variable person:
VariableType variableName = new TypeOfObjectBeingCreated();

Requirements:

In the Person class, declare a String variable called name.
In the Person class, declare an int variable called age.
In the Person class, declare an int variable called weight.
In the Person class, declare an int variable called money.
In the main method, create a Person object and immediately assign a reference to it to the variable person.
Five variables must be declared.

you have created object in wrong way. assign a value to declaration . give that a sop by dot operator.

In the main method, create a Person object and store a reference to it in the variable person. Your variable name is incorrect.

Person Person = new Person();

This is the main reason why you failed to create a proper object of Person type. What you've done here is this: <DataType> <DataType> = new <DataType>(); You capitalized the supposed variable name, and that is where the error lies. Remember that everything in programming is case-sensitive.

Ok so I am a long time PC tech (30 years since the start of it) and apparently still not used to the whole CASE situation, i didn't notice until I looked at MANY OTHER HELPS that I had the same case in Person Person when it was supposed to be person in lower case, the hint even tells you that but when you are not used to Case sensitivity its a harder transition, otherwise I had the logic, so frustrating lol. This is a GREAT lesson though you can't declare the same "Reference" to an object with the EXACT same name Person <> person. I get it now.
