import the java.util.date so you don't have to call it by its full name everytime; create a formatter using SimpleDateFormat with the condition's format , i.e. -> ("MM dd yyyy") Create a new date object and put it in the formatter to print it out

This is a very basic level code, a simple google search would give you simple examples of how to do it. Do try to be more active in searching out the solutions before giving up or saying its complicated. The number one rule in learning to code well is learning how to find solutions yourself. Use this: SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("MM dd yyyy"); Date date = new Date(); System.out.println(formatter.format(date));
