My first Nerd Break video in Java Syntax, Level 0, Lesson 7 does not play. Once I click the 'open' button, all I get is just a blank black box! (Apparently this is the frame that should contain the video). Can anyone please help with solutions or ideas to make it work?

Try a different browser. I'm using a Mac, and I was using Chrome. I had the same issue as you, but when I switched to Safari, it worked.

It's a youtube video, maybe its locked from being viewed in your country?

Thanks Guadalupe, but no that's not it. I am in Nigeria and we have access over here to YouTube completely.
Although I was able to watch the video by using another browser (Mozilla). I think Codegym guys should check and make sure their videos work on all browsers. My other failed attempt was on Google Chrome. I wander why that is.
