1. 🌍 Software eats world

Back in 2011, Mark Andreessen, a Silicon Valley legend and co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz, wrote an article "Why Software is Eating the World" 🖥️. Even then, he pointed out that software has become the main driver of the economy and is replacing traditional professions. And this trend is only speeding up.

Computers, the internet, and mobile apps have changed the way things work. Some people lost their jobs because of technology, while others built entire fortunes 💰. This is just a typical story of times of change. Farmers once left the fields, machines replaced workers, and now huge accounting departments are replaced by one specialist with 1C and automation skills.

Technology consistently boosts productivity 📈. Machines and robots eliminate routine tasks, and “smart” software increases demand for skilled specialists who can manage this tech and create new services. One professional with modern tools 🛠️ can replace dozens of workers from the past — and earn much more. The result: services become cheaper, businesses more profitable, and specialists more valuable.

Such technological booms happen regularly: recently it was cryptocurrency, and now — artificial intelligence. And if you missed buying Bitcoin at $1, you won’t have to wait long for the next chance: a new wave has already started 🚀!

2. 🧠 Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is here ✅. In fall 2022, OpenAI introduced ChatGPT 3.5. And the world will never be the same again.

This AI easily passed the Turing test. It can play chess at a grandmaster level ♟️, pass exams at top universities 🎓. And every six months, its capabilities double. Which is pretty exciting. Welcome to the future.

Major tech companies have jumped into the AI race 🏁. Demand for AI specialists is growing insanely fast. Microsoft plans to spend $100 billion just on building data centers for AI training. Other tech giants aren’t lagging behind either. There’s fierce competition among IT giants for everything related to AI: servers, data centers, experts, scientists.

Interesting fact. Facebook has started a real hunt for top AI programmers 🎯. In summer 2025, they hired several true superstars:

  • Poached Joumin Pang from Apple for $250 million;
  • Poached Alexander Van from Scale AI for $200 million;
  • Poached Trapit Banzal from OpenAI for $100 million;
  • Poached Nate Friedman from GitHub for $100 million;
  • Poached Daniil Gross from Safe Superintelligence for $50 million;

All these specialists are invited to Meta under record-breaking conditions 🏅 — such contracts and bonuses haven’t been seen even among many corporate executives. Now, the fight for AI talent is a real “arms race,” and Meta is playing big.

3. 🧐 How does this affect you?

The news is actually great 😎. First, it’s already clear how the AI business will develop. Apparently, AI companies will offer AI-as-a-Service: they won’t try to push all competitors out of the market, but will simply become AI contractors 🤝.

Second, every revolution, including technological ones, is an opportunity to quickly build a career. "If you can't stop it, lead it!" So ignoring the AI revolution is unwise ❌, joining it is smart ✔️. Even better — be among the first.

Person + AI will replace person without AI. Just like a person with a spear defeated a person with a stick, a person with a gun 🔫 defeated a person with a spear, and so on. Artificial intelligence will greatly increase the productivity of people who know how to work with it. And such specialists will be needed everywhere 🌐.

And third, in the next decade, tons of products and internet services 🌱 will emerge that will make the work of ordinary people better, faster, and cheaper. This will elevate the global economy to a new level 🚩.

Undoubtedly, these companies will need top-notch specialists capable of creating products with AI that, together with AI, will provide services. You need to become such a person.

4. 🌑 "You should have fought evil, not joined it"

Will AI replace programmers? No. More likely, the opposite 😈. Programmers will use AI to replace all other professions. The last profession to disappear will be programmer 😛.

Switch to the dark side. The dark side of AI opens the way to opportunities that many consider unnatural…
